Delete your account
You can ask us to delete your MiUniverse account and personal data at any time. MiUniverse is in private beta — in-app self-service deletion is being prepared. Until it ships, you can request deletion by email and we will action it for you.
How to request deletion
- Email us from the address on your MiUniverse account.
- Include the email address of the account you'd like deleted.
- We'll confirm receipt and complete deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials.
- Your profile (display name, soft identity, avatar).
- Memories, capsules, little things and experiences you created in your personal orbit.
- Invites you sent that are still pending.
- Support messages tied to your account.
What may remain
Some content lives inside shared orbits with other people. To protect the memories and experiences they have kept, that content may remain in the shared orbit after your account is removed, with your identity anonymised (for example, shown as a former member). Limited operational logs may be retained where the law requires it.
In-app deletion
A self-service "delete my account" button inside the app is being prepared and will be available before MiUniverse leaves beta. Until then, email is the supported route.
