Who we are

MiUniverse ("MiUniverse", "we", "us") provides a private, invite-led space for small groups of people to keep memories, moments and experiences close. Contact: hello@miuniverse.space.

What information we collect

• Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, and (where you use social sign-in) the basic profile details that providers such as Google, Apple or Microsoft share with us via Lovable.
• Profile data: display name, soft identity, avatar or glyph, star sign and any optional personalisation you add.
• Orbit membership and invites: which orbits you belong to, the role you hold, who else is in those orbits, and invite codes you send or accept.
• Moments: photos, notes, dates and descriptions you save to an orbit.
• Experiences and Little Things: shared experiences, ratings, signals and small details you log inside an orbit.
• Uploaded photos and files: images and attachments you upload, stored in a private Supabase storage bucket.
• Browser local data: your login session, the orbit you last opened, any pending invite you are following, and cache flags. These are kept in your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage and are not shared outside your device.
• Operational and security logs: basic technical signals (device type, operating system, browser, IP address, timestamps), email delivery logs, suppression lists and admin audit records stored in our database for security, abuse prevention, reliability and support.
• Support communications: messages, feedback, account deletion requests and any attachments you send us.

How we use your data

• To provide your private orbits and shared orbit spaces.
• To manage invites and orbit membership.
• To save, retrieve and display your moments, experiences and little things.
• To keep your account secure and prevent abuse.
• To send invite emails, authentication emails and other transactional messages.
• To respond to support requests and improve the product during beta.

Who can see your content

MiUniverse is designed for small private orbits. Content you add to a shared orbit is visible only to the members of that orbit. Your personal MiOrbit is visible only to you. There are no public profiles, public feeds, open discovery or follower systems. We do not sell your data and we do not use your private content for advertising.

Where data is stored and who processes it

Your data is stored in Supabase, which provides our database and private file storage. The app runs on Cloudflare and the Lovable platform. Invite emails are sent through Resend. Authentication and transactional emails are sent through Lovable Email. If you sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft, those providers share basic profile data with us as part of the sign-in process. These processors handle data on our behalf under their own security commitments.

How long we keep invite emails

Invite recipient names and email addresses are minimised on a rolling basis. Once an invite has been accepted, the recipient details on that invite record are cleared after 7 days. Invites that expire without being accepted have their recipient details cleared 30 days after expiry. Diagnostic invite logs (used to debug failed link flows) keep email addresses for at most 90 days before being scrubbed. Active, unaccepted invites keep the recipient address so the link can still be used. Account deletion removes your remaining personal data as part of the deletion request.

Your rights

You can access, correct or request deletion of your data at any time. See the account deletion page for how to request deletion during beta. We will confirm with you before removing your data.

Beta status

MiUniverse is in early beta. Security and privacy controls are in place and will continue to be reviewed and strengthened as we grow. Features, policies and this page may change as the product evolves.

Children

MiUniverse is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). Do not create an account if you are below that age.
